How are they made
?
All of our bags are made from a combination of cotton materials, some mixed with either flannel or tapestry fabrics and all are super durable and raggedy. They will have either four or five inch sides and bottom, depending upon the size. In between the front and back panels, a piece of high-pile quilt batting is inserted then a nylon "X" is stitched through all three layers for quilting and bag stability. The straps are made the same way using three layers then sewn with a 10" drop. (Straps can be made shorter or longer) All the designs include six inner slip pockets (4 large 2 small) plus 2 outer side pockets, which are great for holding your cell phone. They securely close with my own hand-sewn loop and button design. (i don't much care for the look of Velcro)

To complete the look, coordinating change purses and cell phone bags can be purchased on our accessories page (coming shortly!) ♥ Please email me if you'd like to know what other items are available.

Care instructions
and other important things

Our "one year of quality" guarantee: As always, customer satisfaction is our #1 priority and we want you to be happy with your purchase. I sew all of my bags and blankies with nylon "upholstery thread". Its a little more expensive, but its well worth it for the piece of mind. You just cant break this type of thread with your hands! (and yes, I have tried!) There are thousands of stitches though ... so who knows something may come loose and then what do you do? To solve that worry here's my personal guarantee ... if for any reason your bag needs to be repaired (after normal use) send it to me and I will fix it, free of charge, for one year from the date of purchase.

How long will it take ? We will begin working on your item(s) within 12 hours of receiving cleared payment. Please allow from one -to- three weeks for delivery of your raggedy item, including shipping time. This, only because our schedule can sometimes be thrown off at a moments notice. I have 2 children and also work at a funeral home. Should your item(s) be completed sooner, they will of course be shipped - in some cases, within 7 days of receiving cleared payment. If you need this sooner, please ask and I can let you know it it's possible.

Bulk Orders require more time**
We ship via USPS and/or UPS and are happy to combine shipping.

Refunds: Returns and/or refunds are given only on a case-by-case basis. Once work on your item(s) have begun, more specifically, once the material has been cut, there will be no cash refund given. We will however do our best to work with you to resolve any problems. Thanks for your understanding of this matter.

How to Care for Your Raggedy Bag : Your item will arrive already washed/dried one time to begin the ragging process. This also allows us the opportunity to closely inspect the bag for any little problems prior to shipment. It is after all, handmade! Your bag will continue to soften and fray as washing continues. Light iron, when needed careful to avoid the closure buttons and the Momma Pajama label.
